A. 目的. To provide a learning environment based on accountability and security, the University of Idaho provides an identification system that allows access to many card-related services. A 汪达尔人卡 is a tool to validate an individual’s purpose at U of I and reason to be on premises via designated authorities, particularly areas not accessible to the public. The 汪达尔人卡 is also utilized by various University services such as the library, 餐饮服务, and door or gate access to university functions. The U of I recommends all staff, faculty, and 学生s have a properly issued 汪达尔人卡.

B. 范围. This policy applies to all University of Idaho employees, 学生s, and affiliates.

C. 定义

颈- 1会员. Anyone who is not an employee, 学生, or otherwise employed by the University of Idaho directly. This includes vendors, contractors, partner institutions such as the 健康 Clinic, etc.

C-2. 持卡人. The person whose name and photograph appear on the 汪达尔人卡.

C-3. 汪达尔人卡. A University-issued identification card issued for the purpose of accessing programs and services administered by the University of Idaho.

D. 政策

a. All employees and 学生s should be issued a 汪达尔人卡.

b. University of Idaho 汪达尔人卡s are the property of the University of Idaho.

c. 汪达尔人卡s are not for official identification outside of U of I, nor do they replace government issued identification.

d2的资格

a. A 汪达尔人卡 may be issued if the individual fits into one of the classifications specified on the OIT门户.

b. Affiliate cards require sponsorship from a U of I authority for issuance.

D-3. 有效性. 汪达尔人卡s are valid only for the duration of the cardholder’s status as an employee, 学生, 或下属. Upon termination of the status, the 汪达尔人卡 will be deactivated.

D-4 持卡人 Responsibilities

a. The cardholder is responsible for all transactions and uses of the card unless it is reported lost or stolen.

b. 汪达尔人卡s are not transferable and will be confiscated if found being used by someone other than the cardholder .

c. 汪达尔人卡s may not be lent out or used by anyone other than the cardholder.

d. The cardholder must immediately report a lost or stolen card to the Office of Information Technology. A replacement fee may be charged to replace a lost 汪达尔人卡.

e. U of I assumes no responsibility for misuse or charges to cardholder’s account due to card being lost or stolen

f. 汪达尔人卡s may not be replicated and the information they contain may not be extracted from the card.

E. 不服从. 不服从 with this policy may result, depending upon the nature of the noncompliance, in the user’s account or access to U of I buildings being temporarily suspended, 或禁用, 或者永久终止. In the case of temporary suspension, U of I may require implementation of remedial measures prior to reinstatement of the user’s 汪达尔人卡 access. 另外, the user may be referred for institutional sanctions to the appropriate university disciplinary body and may be subject to civil and criminal penalties.

F. 异常. 异常 to this policy will be considered based on program and university need and will require prior approval of the U of I Vice President for Information Technology and Chief Information Officer or designee based on a recommendation approved by the supervising VP/Dean/Director. 异常 can be submitted for approval on the OIT门户 site.
